Raw Tomatillo Salsa

Raw Tomatillo Salsa Tomatillos are an essentail ingredients in many Mexican dishes because of their iconic tangy taste.

Ingredients
  • 18 tomatillos, halved
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 serrano chillies, seeded and finely chopped
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 5 sprigs coriander, finely chopped
  • Salt
Recipe
  1. Lightly mash the tomatillos in a molcajete.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and chillies, and mix well.
  3. Season to taste with salt.
  4. Stir in the sugar and sprinkle with the coriander.
