Guacamole

Guacamole There's more than one way to turn your avocados into a great tasting guacamole. Follow this recipe from Mama Reyna, who combines it with her Salsa Verde to add extra depth to a classic guac, which is also vegan.

Ingredients
  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1 jar Mama Reyna Salsa Verde
  • Juice of ½ a lime
  • Salt to taste
    • 2 tbsp double cream (optional, and will mean the recipe is no longer vegan)
 
Recipe
  1. Cut the avocado in half and remove the stone. Scoop it out into a bowl and mash is with a fork.
    1. Keep the avocado stone to put in the guacamole. It will help reduce the natural darkening of the avocado together with the lime juice.
  2. Add 2-3 tablespoons of the Mama Reyna Salsa Verde, lime juice, and salt, to taste. Mix all together; including the double cream if using.
  3. Serve immediately.
