Mangonadas
From 'Comida Mexicana' by Rosa Cienfuegos These thick, messy smoothies combines sweet mango and sour lime for a uniquely refreshing experience:
Ingredients
- 2 mangos, roughly chopped
- 500g frozen mango chunks
- 130g lime sorbet
- ½ lime, cut into small pieces
- 250g ice cubes
- 200ml chamoy
- Sprinkling of Tajin
- 4 Tama Roca sticks, to garnish
Recipe
- Place the fresh and frozen mango, lime sorbet, lime pieces, and ice in a blender and blend until well combined.
- Place 2 tablespoons of chamoy in the base of 4 glasses.
- Divide half the blended mango mixture among the glasses and top with 3 shakes of Tajin, and another 2 teaspoons of chamoy.
- Add the remaining mango mixture and finish with a little extra sprinkling of Tajin. Garnish with a Tama Roca stick.
