Part of the range of single village mezcals from Del Maguay, this particular spirit was made in the village of San Balthazar Chichicapa. It was made using Espadín agave, and is full of big smoky vegetal flavours. It'll suit fans of peaty Islay whisky. This bottle of Chichicapa was made in the village of the same name, and scored a hugely impressive 94 points from Wine Enthusiast.
Del Maguey Chichicapa has a medium nose and a complex taste with lots of citrus and a long smooth finish with overtones of mint.
