The Orendain Tequila family legacy begins with Don Eduardo Orendain, who founded distillery La Mexicana in the town of Tequila in 1926. Still 100% family owned, La Mexicana is now run by the 2nd generation of Orendains. Dedicated to producing the best tequilas they can, Orendain resist most of the modern practices that are now common place in the production of Tequila.
