Zunte Mezcal 700ml
40-degrees White Mezcal Blanco has beautiful platinum tones of refined and light character.
Zunte Mezcal is produced in San Luis del Río, Oaxaca using agave Espadin. The agaves are cooked underground for 4 days and then crushed by a stone tahona pulled by either a horse or mule. Next, the agave fibers ferment with water for 12 to 15 days in wooden vats. Finally, the mash is distilled twice over a period of 36 hours in copper stills.
Zunte means "Spirit's Strength" and the brand is committed to preserving traditional mezcal production practices. Zunte Mezcal wants to be recognized for respecting the communities that produce traditional mezcal.
To produce a better quality product, it is redistilled in order to standardize the grade of alcohol, which can vary depending on the flavour and profile established by the producer; the graduation is not associated with quality, it is a matter of profile and taste.
