The chillies de arbol - as they are known in Spanish - are often made to use in chilli sauces and in dishes such as pozole.  These arbol flakes are perfect for sprinkling over pizzas, soups, salads and tacos. They can be mixed with chipotle morita chillies to make a smoky hot salsa. Try mixing this smoky hot salsa with soured cream to have a milder dressing for salads and pizzas.
