Put the tomatoes in a blender or food processor and blend to a fairly smooth texture. Pass through a sieve, reserve. - Heat the oil in a heavy-based saucepan over a medium heat and gently sauté the onions until soft, add the garlic and sauté for a further minute. Add the minced meat and brown it over the high heat, stirring constantly. Mix in the chopped carrot, tomato purée and Gran Luchito. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover and gently simmer for 30 – 45 minutes until cook through. - About 15 minutes before removing from the heat, stir in the chopped potatoes. Serve hot. For more ideas please visit
