Serrano chillies such a romantic name for a great all purpose dried chilli. The serrano chili is thick, fleshy and makes it great to grind, crush and use as a spicy condiment to sprinkle on anything.

Hotter than a jalapeno and bright red in colour. They are a desirable chilie because of there moderate heat and versatility in sauces. Imagine making a Chile con carne, use supermarket bought sauce and take it up a notch by adding these ground up with some red wine. You're going to be in for a hot night when you add this chilie to your cooking.

A friend of mine used this pepper in his burgers and has now achieved legend status for his barbecues ;o)
