We are a passionate team of people comprised of Mexican nationals & those that love Mexico. No better group lives, breathes & eats Mexican Food.

Katya Torres de la Rocha
Chief Executive OfficerAbout Katya: Katya’s passion for Mexican food has shaped every part of her life and entrepreneurial career, leading her to take ownership of MexGrocer.co.uk in 2009.
Her mission is to share her Mexican heritage and inspire families, food lovers, restaurateurs and chefs across Europe to discover and celebrate the culture and cuisine of Mexico every day.
As a hands-on CEO, Katya oversees all areas of the business, from supplier relationships and pricing to customer engagement, franchising and the sourcing of new Mexican products.
Prior to MexGrocer, Katya co-founded and co-owned Mestizo, an authentic Mexican restaurant with locations in London and Madrid. She also held the top role at CSG Financial Consultancy and owned the acclaimed Mexican restaurant Barra Vieja in Mexico City.
Katya earned her Business Degree from Universidad La Salle in Mexico City in 1998, followed by a Master's Degree in Finance from UNAM in 2002.
She has been recognised by the Mexican Chamber of Commerce and was awarded Business Personality of the Year 2014 by the LUKAS Awards.

Sobre Katya: La pasión de Katya por la comida mexicana ha impregnado cada parte de su vida y su dinámica carrera empresarial, llevándola a convertirse en propietaria de MexGrocer.co.uk en 2009.
Su misión es compartir su amor por la herencia mexicana, inspirando a familias, amantes de la gastronomía, restauradores y chefs en toda Europa a abrazar y celebrar la cultura y la cocina de México cada día.
Katya es una directora general muy implicada, supervisando todos los aspectos de la empresa, desde el trato con proveedores internacionales hasta la fijación de precios, la atención al cliente y las franquicias.
Antes de MexGrocer, Katya tuvo una exitosa carrera. En 2004, cofundó y fue copropietaria de Mestizo, un restaurante mexicano auténtico con sedes en Londres y Madrid.
También ocupó el cargo más alto en CSG Financial Consultancy y fue propietaria y directora del reconocido restaurante Barra Vieja en Ciudad de México.
Katya obtuvo su licenciatura en administración de empresas en la Universidad La Salle y posteriormente una maestría en finanzas en la UNAM.
Ha sido reconocida por la Cámara de Comercio Mexicana y fue galardonada como Personalidad Empresarial del Año 2014 por los premios LUKAS.
Eduardo Gomez Resendiz
Sales & Marketing DirectorAbout Eduardo: Originally from Mexico City, Eduardo has dedicated his time promoting the food, music, culture and spirits of Mexico in the UK.
Eduardo worked for the Mexican Embassy before he began his career in the alcohol beverage industry in 2004 as the UK Brand Manager for Corona. During this time, he was part of a small team who saw the Corona Extra brand grow by 1539% over 8 years.
He started passionately driving the mezcal and tequila category in the UK when he joined Amathus Drinks in 2011 as Brand Sales & Marketing Manager, helping grow its portfolio of artisanal mezcal and 100% agave tequila.
Amathus Drinks went on to become the largest importer of artisanal mezcal in the UK and Europe, and the third largest in the world.
Eduardo founded the first ever Tequila and Mezcal Fest in the UK, which is now the largest festival of Mexican spirits in Europe.
Alongside his passion for Mexican beverages, he is also passionate about Mexican food and is now Partner and Sales Director at Mexgrocer.co.uk, the largest online shop of authentic Mexican food in Europe.
MexGrocer imports and distributes authentic Mexican food, working directly with farmers and producers in Mexico. Many of the best-selling products stocked by MexGrocer are exclusive and cannot be bought anywhere else in the UK or Europe.
Eduardo has appeared twice on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch as the tequila expert, sharing his love and passion for Mexico with audiences across the UK.

Sobre Eduardo: Originario de la Ciudad de México, Eduardo ha dedicado su tiempo a promover la comida, la música, la cultura y las bebidas espirituosas de México en el Reino Unido.
Eduardo trabajó para la Embajada de México antes de comenzar su carrera en la industria de bebidas alcohólicas en 2004 como Brand Manager de Corona en Reino Unido. Durante ese tiempo, formó parte de un pequeño equipo que logró un crecimiento del 1539% en la marca Corona Extra en solo 8 años.

Mario Galindo BA (Hons)
General ManagerAbout Mario: Mario joined MexGrocer in early 2010, shortly after Katya took over the company, at a time when he was still completing his degree in Public Services at Anglia Ruskin University.
Mario is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the company, managing the operations team while maintaining regular communications with suppliers and clients.
He also takes charge of the implementation and project management of new initiatives and partner relationships, helping drive the continued growth and success of MexGrocer.
Mario has a broad working knowledge and experience that includes retail, sales, operations, leisure and entertainment.
Born in Mexico and living in the United Kingdom since 1989, he brings a valuable combination of operational expertise, commercial understanding and cultural insight to the business.
His leadership helps ensure MexGrocer continues to deliver excellent service, strong supplier relationships and a seamless experience for customers across the UK and Europe.

Sobre Mario: Mario se unió a MexGrocer a principios de 2010, poco después de que Katya asumiera la dirección de la empresa, mientras completaba sus estudios de Servicios Públicos en la Universidad Anglia Ruskin.

Su liderazgo ayuda a garantizar que MexGrocer continúe ofreciendo un excelente servicio y manteniendo sólidas relaciones con proveedores y clientes.
